Rod discovered his gift for drawing in 2009 and has since become a professional fine artist specializing in “Hyper Realism” — creating three-dimensional images from a flat piece of paper with woodless graphite pencils.

Trained under living master Lance Richlin, Rod’s influences include Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Vermeer, and Caravaggio. Each piece is meticulously hand-drawn on premium grade, heavy weight sketch paper.
